Toxins
In the world we live in today, we are consistently exposed to toxins. There are definitely things that we can do to minimize the effects that they have on us. A person can also go overboard on trying to protect themselves. Our bodies have an amazing ability to detoxify themselves. There are times when somethng in our systems are out of balance, and the toxins find a home and decide to stay. Listed below are some of the most common toxins that can cause health, hormonal, and emotional issues.
* Parasites - a natural reaction to hearing that one has parasites is disgust. Truth is, we are all exposed to parasites through the foods we eat, water, through the soil, pets, insects, and more. It isn't something to get worked up about, because the issue can be remedied. Many people suffer with effects such as diarhea, joint pain, sleeplessness, headaches, bladder infections, and so much more which is misdiagnosed. Parasites park themselves in more places than just the digestive tract, so many times, even if parasites are suspected, they are not picked up in testing on stool samples, because they can be in the blood, bones or organs of the body. I recommend electrodermal screening to determine if you have parasites and what type you were exposed to. Getting rid of parasites can make a huge difference in health. Naturally, homeopathic supplements and herbals are very effective at removing parasites. To assist your body with keeping them away, garlic is a wonderful tonic. If your body is in balance, it does not make a good host for parasites.
* Molds/Fungus/Yeasts - the body needs a balance of these in the system, it is when the body is out of balance that difficulties result. An example is when you are on antibiotics; they kill the good bacteria as well as the bad. This gives candida albicans a red light to prosper in the system. When it happens that any mold, fungus or yeast begins overgrowing, the reactions are great. Some common symptoms are food sensitivities, migraines, emotional issues, depression, digestive problems, fatigue and the list goes on and on. Once again, there are many natural remedies that can assist with bringing the system back in balance. Electrodermal screening is a good choice if this is suspected, because food sensitivities can also be determined.
* Bacteria - our systems need both friendly and bad bacteria to work properly. If the bad bacteria has the opportunity to prosper, disease occurs. This can be treated with natural supplements, but the majority of people tend to lean toward antibiotics. This can trigger issues as stated above with candida.
* Viruses - we all know about viruses - the common cold, being, well the most common! Viruses cannot be treated with antibiotics, but yet, we ask our doctors for antibiotics in the hope that we can speed recovery. Once again, there are natural solutions to viruses that can be used preventatively and to shorten the duration of viruses when the attack.
* Chemicals - We live in a chemical society. It is unavoidable that we are exposed to chemicals from cleaning supplies, herbicides, pesticides, car exhaust, food additives, and so much more. Chemical build up in our systems can weaken the immune system, leading to disease, fatigue, depression and chronic complaints.
* Heavy Metals: In trace amounts, our bodies need metals to function properly. It is when there is a build up of these metals in our systems that problems result. The resulting problems can be allergies, fibromyalgia, fatigue, depression and numerous other health complaints.
Sources of exposure to Heavy Metals (Source Unknown):
Aluminum
Aluminum cookware, aluminum foil, antacids, antiperspirants, aluminum containing
baking powder, buffered aspirin, canned acidic foods, food additives, lipstick, medications such as anti-diarrheal agents, hemorrhoidal products, vaginal douches, processed cheese, "softened" water, tap water.
Arsenic
